Ghar Ki Safai, Dil Ki Shaanti — My Real Cleaning Routine
I’ll be honest — I was never that “perfectly organised” person. My room used to look clean only when guests were about to come. But after the last few years, something changed. Now I don’t clean only because the house looks dirty… I clean because the mind feels lighter after it. Every morning, before even making my second cup of chai, I do one small round of the house. Not a deep clean. Just quick — door handles, switches, table top, remote control. You don’t realise how many hands touch these things in one day. For this I always keep a surface cleaner spray nearby. I mostly use Lizol Disinfectant Surface Cleaner Spray or Dettol Multi-Use Hygiene Spray . Two quick sprays on a cloth and bas — centre table, dining table, laptop desk, done in 5 minutes. The smell itself makes the house feel fresh. Not strong, not irritating… just that clean feeling.
